The strength of our red wines lies in the fact that the varietals come from a mixture of local and international varieties which are perfectly suited to the soils and the climate in which they are grown. Over the years the Estate has attached great importance to the improvement of various varietals which, due to their specific uniqueness and suitability to the local terroir, are used, both in single varietal wines, and in blends. We have just enough sunlight every year to ripen the grape berries to perfection without overcooking them, such as so often happens in the New World hot climates. We have the cooling off effect of the sea breezes in the afternoons, and the proximity of the foothills of the Alps to thank for this fortunate situation. One could typify our red wines with words such as strength, combined with elegance and passion.
