The number of visitors to the Estate’s winery has been increasing sharply over the years and the need was thus felt to have a specifically designated, yet traditional and welcoming place to host them in the winery so that they could taste our wines in the correct conditions. It was also felt that this marvellous facility should be shared with our friends and the public, and you can therefore request that we organise wine tasting sessions for you, accompanied by local and traditional snacks and foods.
In 2002 we decided to open such a dedicated professional Tasting Room in the winery itself. Its success has been such that people now rent the Tasting Room for events as seminars, conferences, meetings and even weddings. Our Tasting Room however retains its traditional flavour with a big open hearth, tables made out of old casks, red wooden doors and shutters.
It can host up to 100 people seated, with video and conferencing facilities, in a most welcoming and informal atmosphere, where they can breath in the flavour, passion and traditions of a 1000 years of dedicated wine culture, tradition and production.
